“Name it, and I can make it a reality. All I need are my tools. Oh, and a fleet of construction vehicles. Oh, and an impossibly large mountain of cash, too".

(She sounds like me alright!!)

A young engineer who was paralysed from the waist down, Sofia has never let being in a wheelchair hold her back. While she might not have the imagination to come up with ride ideas on her own, once she’s given a design, there’s no-one more adept at turning it into a reality. She represents the overcoming of impossible personal limitations.

The job:

I honestly had so much fun travelling to Soho (London) and popping into the studios everyday to jump into a little room and play. It was so much fun. I remember on the last day of recording I joked the with director and the sound guy that “you’d have drag me out of here because I’m not leaving! Like, ever”

And yet I did. And as I walked out of the studio, I couldn’t help but smile the entire walk through Soho and back to Oxford Circus station. I was walking on air. Ever since moving to London after uni, I dreamt of making London a working city for me. I always thought it would happen in musical theatre, but life had other plans, and this was it. Oh baby, this was it! For a moment, London was all mine. And it felt goooooooooood.
