What is Cambridge Famous For?
When my acting coach invited me to her home, in Cambridge, for a lesson, I was all for it!
I even emailed her back exclaiming, "Oo! I can make a video about it! It's on my list!" I was pretty thrilled.
There's only one thing- what is Cambridge known for? I honestly had NO idea. I even googled, "Why should I care about Cambridge". Turns out, Cambridge is known for being home to some of the world's greatest scientists ("sciency people") and mathematicians who have REVOLUTIONISED our world!
From stuff like, DNA (dee-oxy-rybo-new-clay-ick-acid - the stuff that makes me different from you) and atoms (the tiniest chemical particle ever!) to where Isaac Newton developed his theory of gravity. Apple, anyone?
Although it was only a mere afternoon, I still enjoyed walking amongst the same pavements and trees they once walked among, too. Oh! Not to mention, I saw a sundial on a tower! Haha Totally retro.
Enjoy!
Your best gal pal,
Kat
