Here's the truth I learned:

WHEN IT COMES TO DESIGNER, ALWAYS, ALWAYS BUY IT FROM THE MAIN STORE. ALWAYS.

I learned this after making the huge mistake of buying Christian Louboutin's (those infamous red soled shoes) from a department store.

Here's why:

Knowledge & expertise. The staff at the main store know everything there is to know about the design, the engineering, and the style of their products. FULL STOP.

The pair I bought from the department were too big for me, so I did end up returning them. However, I didn't know this until I walked into the Louboutin store in Las Vegas. There was a man and a woman, we'll call them Chris & Louise for fun. So C&L were explaining the whole engineering of my nude pump. I even remember them saying "The leather will stretch perfectly to your foot, so you need to make sure they are as fitted as you can possibly stand it, because after a few wears, they will fit your foot so perfectly they'll feel like they were made just for you." And you know what, they were right.

So when it came to buying my awesome trench coat- I made no hesitation to visit THEE Burberry flagship store on Regent Street in London. I talk about the whole experience in my video, below. But for now, enjoy these pics!
