Hairspray

I did it! I mean, I knew I could, but I actually did it! My first lead in a musical! It was a dream. It was an absolute dream.

So, it's been almost two weeks now since closing HAIRSPRAY with my DarlingtonOS family and I think I'm just starting to come down from that glorious cloud. No way, who am I kidding. I live in the clouds. But, still. I am beyond grateful for all of the love and support from my DarlingtonOS family, as well my husband, his family, my own family and friends. Because of them, and because of Tracy Turnblad, all of those voices in my head who said, "I couldn't," have now been silenced and are being overthrown by the voices who say, "I can!" Ugh! IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY!!

In other news, I have now been with the Darlington Operatic Society, or DOS, for a whole year! If you live in the northeast, love musical theatre, or just love putting on a show, check them out! I have run into so many people who have been apart of DOS or have seen their shows. I wish I would've found them sooner, like when I first moved here. But we found each other when we were supposed to, and my heart is beyond filled.

Now for the fun stuff...PICTURES! (Courtesy of the DarlingtonOS & Peter Harrington)
