I first met David when I was in middle school. He was the funny, charming, high schooler who would visit sometimes to give lessons & help out with choir concerts. All the choir nerds had a crush on him, myself included. How could you not- with that signature laugh and smile?! Not to mention, his little brother was one of my good friends growing up. Together we eventually became “Custer’s Kids”, a name given to all of us choir nerds with respect to our choir director, the late David B. Custer.

I mention all of this because it was this bond that has kept our friendship thriving all of these years. I have seen David grow and change and work tirelessly in the pursuit of his dreams. It is because of this that I am thrilled to be able to join with Lone Star Theatre Co to help produce ANIMAL HUSBANDRY at The New York International Festival.
